I began teaching remedial english at Muschette and Salt Marsh after graduation. In 1975 I migrated to the USA Joined the US Army in 1976 I had my basic training at Ft McClenan where I was the honored trainee of my platoon. Had my first duty assignment at Ft Wainwright Alaska for 18 months as a Flight Operations Coordinator (71-P). I never thought I would leave that place with the temp falling from 65-80 degrees below zero (0). Any way I made it out for my next duty assignment at ft Rucker, Alabama for the next three and half years then I opted not to re-up because they were going to send me to Korea and because I didnot want to starve or freeze to death I got my honorable discharge and return to Philadelphia.
In Phila I dabled in theatre for a while and even went to a six month broadcasting school Then I got a part-time job with the Postal Service as a clerk, then I moved up into the ranks to my current position as a supervisor with hopes of becoming a manager before I retire. While in the Amy I got my Associate degree in Business, then back in 2004 I decided to go back to school and got my BA in Business and now my masters and in June 2010. For fun I used to model with my daughter, roller-skate, work out at the gym, had couple medical surgeries over the years but doing ok now.

My favorite school story was on Friday afternoon when Anthony Currie, Bazil Rodney, David Brown, and Albert Green used to tell big boy stories. Other times include Mrs. Edgar lining up all the girls and used a ruler to measure the length of our uniforms and it they did not meet the regulations, she would pull the hem out, but us girls were wise we would starch our uniform real stiff, so when she pull the hem we would just flip the hem back up and it would stay up. Then there was the trip to Dunn's River and the scream and fun behind the fall and I might add at the age of 53 I have not recover from the whistling in my ear and waking up with water in my right ear.
