In Memory

Virginia Lamonica

Ginny and I had gym class together during our junior year of high school. She was a sweet, fun person with a great smile. I did not realize she was ill until she missed gym one week. I was not a close friend of hers, so if someone closer to her would like to say something in her memory, please email the website.

Ginny was an exceptionally talented and pleasant girl. She literally had a smile that would light up a room and it is truly a shame that leukemia ended her life prematurely. She is still missed by those of us who knew her.

Ginny was amazing... It was a pleasure to be good friends with her and I think of her often... Recently her father passed away and there were many pictures of her... It was great to put her face along with the memories.. She was so friendly and caring it is a real shame she had to leave us so early... I miss her...

Ginny lived right around the corner from me. We were very close friends. I think about her a lot and will always remember her laugh and happy attitude. Every picture I have of her has that awesome smile. She is missed a lot by everyone that loved and knew her.

9th and 10th grade year, Ginny, Joycie Bahl and I were inseperable. Memories include going to baseball games at Garfield park, a Michael Stanley concert at the Front Row theatre, walking around the halls of Mentor high school, sharing many classes together and talking on the phone every night.

I had the privelege of getting to know her whole big, Italian family that loved her so deeply. Ginny was mature beyond her age. She was not only our friend but our advisor, big sister. Joycie and I talk about her often.
