See...this is why I always had a hard time with History class in high school. Hhahaha...It didn't affect me... so I had a hard time comprehending time!!!!

Everything we studied seemed sooo long ago and irrevelant to my life back then...as an immature teenager!!! (HOW FUN THOUGH!!!!!).

But now, twenty years seems like just yesterday in most respects...However, as far as the "big picture" is concerned... Look how far we've come, as a nation,... or haven't come for that matter!!!

Wow...how life changes in some respects and yet stays the same in others...it's like time can stand still in certain moments and yet be fleeting in others...Hope time goes slow the night of our reunion so I have time you see all of you guys again!!! :-)

I've been checking out this site for the past few days (thanks Steve Spain and Tim Andrassy for the link!) and am quite impressed. The reunion team should be proud of themselves. Great job on the website. Quite intuitive! I look forward to the reunion. Regards...

Even though I didn't graduate from Mentor I am glad I was able to join.I went to Mentor schools my whole life.I graduated elsewhere.Went to Ohio college of massotherapy and enjoyed that but I do data entry full time.this web sight is great but so many people must not know about it.I have a long list of people i would like to contact but there is no info on them.I am trying to go down the list of people but everytime i go back to look there are people i have missed.I am trying to get to everyone if I haven't sent you a message it's not for the lack of trying.I was friends with soooo many people.

I was at Deeker's last night and what a really nice time. I was really amazed at how many people seemingly haven't aged a day over twenty years. It was great to see everybody. This website is a tremendous success and I think will contibute to the success of the reunion.

I just have to say seeing everyone again was great. I had a great time last night. I was privledged to be part of the MHS tour. Walking through school again was a trip! To be able to sit in the planetarium again was awesome. The paintings of the planets on the walls in that room are still there!! We all had great stories and memories to tell as we walked through various parts of the school. It was a real treat, it was like almost stepping back in time. I actually got to walk into homeroom again for the first time in 20 years!! They are currently rebuilding the "I" wing (industrial classes: shop, welding, autobody, etc.) to accomodate a new graphic arts section and more classrooms. The whole thing brought the whole high school experience close again. The memories became clearer. I would just like to thank everybody involved for making the whole weekend possible.

To the reunion team and the Class of 1988 ...

You/ we pulled it off and I had a great time Saturday night at the Normandy Party Center as well as the Sunday tour of the high school.

I had an awesome time catching up and remembering the good times and fun times at Mentor.

Keep the web site alive. This is an excellent communication device.

'Til next time --

Tim

Hi everyone,

For all of you who had asked when and where my band was playing next, it will be August 23 at Rock City in Mentor. We are called Bobz Bad Habit and we have our own website at www.bobzbadhabit.com and a Myspace page. We play alot of good 80's music, among other things. Hope to see you there.

I'm so sorry I missed the 20 year reunion. It sounds like everyone had a great time.
Has there been any mention of a 25 year reunion?

08/30/08 01:05 PM #22

Ron Higgins

Yes, talks about the 25 yr reunion have begun! We have also been throwing the idea around of having small get togethers periodically up until then. We'll keep everyone posted as the ideas turn into reality. Thanks for the great comments & please keep checking back! ;-)

Hi folks! I just wanted to pass on some great news in hopes that u will spread the word. I have been accepted as a contestant for a game show called Trivial Pursuit America Plays. Currently, my flight/hotel package is being worked on by Hasbro & I should be flown out in November for the show. The show is hosted by Christopher Knight (aka Peter Brady from the Brady Bunch Show) & is seen at various times nationwide so check your local listings. I will let everyone know on which night(s) that I will be appearing. Even if I do not win it is some fantastic exposure & a step towards my goal of a successful entertainment career! :-)

November 24th is the day of my first appearance on Trivial Pursuit America Plays. Check your local listings. It is an afternoon game show on FOX. I will be on a 2nd showing in December. Details coming soon! :-)

Go to the following page to check on anyone that you think may be in prison in Ohio. I have seen a few people I know from Mentor High in the system.
