School Story:
I really wasn't popular in school at all! Frankly, when I helped notify and find people for our database before our 10 year reunion, many classmates didn't even remember me! I think I ended up stating the obvious: I'm the big girl who sang in choir and hung out with drama people. HA! Sometimes it worked, sometimes it just left people stumped. That's ok!
Like I said, I was in choir under Mr. Bowers and because of that I had a wonderful high school experience. I made lifelong friends there and with some involved in the "drama crowd". The lessons I learned from these creative people, students and teachers alike, helped make me who I am today. I guess that means I'm temperamental, moody, and flighty.... :) I kid!
Not once did I spend a lunch period in "the quad" or by Mr. Weezner's photography room with all you popular people who I now know and love dearly! I think about that sometimes and laugh to myself. It's funny to me that over the years, I've connected more with people I graduated with than I did when we spent 8 hours a day together. I think that's awesome.
I think we have a great class of people. Sure, we had some exclusivity and popularity contests, but jeez...we were teenagers! Now, though, I see such kindness among our group and that's going to make for a fantastic reunion.
