50-Year Reunion

Our Class of 1958’s 50^th reunion will be Saturday, May 17, 2008. This will be the time to renew and to reconnect with old friends.

Here are the plans that are being made in hopes that all will come and help us celebrate. The Belmont Inn will be our headquarters.

Reception at 5:30 pm on the veranda of the hotel. Hors d’oeuvres and non-alcoholic drinks with a cash bar will be provided.

Delicious dinner will be served at 7 pm in the main dining room.

Dress for our special evening will be smart casual.

Some of you may plan to arrive on Friday. There are no formal plans but those who do come might like to gather in the bar of the Belmont Inn for an impromptu evening. As for Saturday, the Abbeville Chamber of Commerce always has numerous activities that you may be interested in doing. When the calendar is made available to us, we will send that information to you. You may also wish to use this time to visit family and friends.

Saturday night we would like to “take a walk down memory lane”. To do this, we are asking each classmate to recall a memory to share with everyone that would reflect an event or person or place of our school days. Does this sound like a “show and tell”? Yep, that is exactly what we want! So reach into your memory bank and help remind us of “those good old days.”
