Kirstie Larson Poppe

I graduated from Luther College with a BA in Social Work. Met my husband in Decorah then moved to Georgia. I got married in 1994. I worked as a hospital social worker then went to being an engineering headhunter. Great pay! Took a terrific job as a home health social worker. Moved to Rochester, MN about 2 weeks before we had our first child, Levi. We moved to be close to family and Mark got a great position as a middle school industrial tech teacher. I stayed home for a little over a year then went to work at Child Care Rosource & Referral. I had my second child and I worked at CCR&R for 5 1/2 years then had a third child, Brig. Once Brig started school full time, I got my old job back at CCRR.

Going to an Ackley dance where Julie & I dressed up as an elephant and monkey. We switched costumes halfway through the dance to fool classmates.

Going to Hampton, Iowa Falls, Waterloo dances. What a blast!

During volleyball, having so much fun with our team. Koreen, Danel & I would go to Sugar's during our break to get grapes & a diet pop.

Waking up the football players during homecoming week. That was fun.
