Right after ESLC, joined Ethiopian Shipping Lines for a Merchant marine Officer course. Beginnig at the Imperial naval College in Massawa, Ethiopia and later for further studies at DeRuyter Marine School in Vilissingen, Holland.

After few years, came to Addis and joined A. Besse Company in the marketing division. A major import and export British Firm.

Came to US in 1982.

And those who came from Asfaw Wossen Elementary school with me are still flashing in my memory as if those things happened yesterday.

Have a great memory of my school years in Addis and love to meet all those when opportunity allows or through our alumni association.
