Since 79, I finished Cosmetology School and worked as a hairsylist for about a year when I was invited to move to Naples Fl. where my long time boyfriend Tim was living and working as a pool boy. After a few months and a attempt at living together, Tim asked me to marry him and we moved back to MI. Tim decided to go back to college at Eastern the fall after we married in 1982. Our first child Danielle was born in Oct. of 84, Tim graduated in April of 85. I worked as a hairsylist until 1993 when I went back to college full time and got my degree in Psychology from Siena Heights. Four children and 2 houses later, We then decided we were tired of the cold and pursued employment outside of Michigan prefering the warmth of the South. Tim found a opportunity in South Florida to work on a TV show producing feature stories on the Coral Ridge Hour. I started my carreer in Human Services working as a Tech for Vocational Rehab. I tried this for about a year, but did not find it very rewarding. I then tried my hand at working with runaways on Ft. Lauderdale Beach. I had my last baby in 2000, my only true Florida Baby. We then moved to NC, the mountains and built our dream house on the lake. I went to work with probation
in NC. I loved working with the criminal offenders and drug uses. I set up 2 county programs for drug offenders. We then moved back to Florida for another promotion. I then worked as a program director for a Maternity Home. We then moved back to NC for another "Tim" promotion almost 2 years ago. I am now working as a Program Director for a homeless womens shelter.
