Toy Flores

After graduating from OHS in 86, I enrolled at UOG that fall. Later that year, I enlisted into the U.S.Army Reserve as a carpenter/mason. I also joined the UOG ROTC program and got my commission as a second lieutenant in May 1990..then graduated the following spring. Went to the U.S. Army Quartermaster Officer Basic Course, then to Airborne School (paratrooper) in 91. My first tour of duty was Garlstedt, Germany, followed by a tour in Livorno, Italy. My next assignment was at Fort Lee, VA for my Advance Officer Course, then Parachute Rigger School, with a follow on assignment at Schofield Barracks, HI. That's where I met my wife Susan Choi. We have two son, Sean and Andrew. I had tours in Thailand, Florida, Los Angeles, CA, Boise, Idaho, Fort Carson, CO, Fort Bliss, TX, Korea, Fort Monroe, VA and now Kabul, Afghanistan. I've served this fine country for over 23 years and now looking forward to retirement in Oct 2010.
