Let's see...after high school I went to Clemson University. My sophomore year, I decided that 2 1/2 hours was too close to home and took off to what proved to be a 30 hour trip to Newcastle, Australia. I lived in Australia for 6 months and studied at the University of Newcastle. After entirely too much fun and no more money I returned to Clemson, which was for the best as I started dating my future husband, Justin Mathis. After sifting through 5 different majors I finally graduated with a BA in Communications. Immediately after I moved to Cashiers, NC and began work as a Wedding/Event Planner (Feb 05); married Justin (Oct 05); quit planning and began Floral Design in Highlands, NC (April 06); become pregnant and began work at a plant nursery in Cashiers, NC still doing floral & garden design/sales (April 07); and finally had Keira (August 07). Absolutely love life right now...my job, my family, and last but not least Clemson football games!!
