I had a great time!! It was good to see everyone. 20 years went by kinda fast and we have "aged" well. Hats off and standing ovation to PAULA PADGETT for planning a A+ event. You did an excellent job!! The entire committee & spouses should be commended for their efforts in making the SAHS 20th year reunion a success. This was my first one and I do not intend on it being my last. I would like to see a combined reunion with 1)Aiken High C/O 89 2)SAHS combined 8- to 89 reunion or 3) combined SAHS, AHS, MVHS, SVBHS '89 reunion @ the Convocation Ctr. in 10 years. That would be nice. Especially since we had to turn 2 Midland Valley couples around that night.

I pray that you all stay healthy, blessed, and prosperous. Enjoy the holidays and your families! Life is too short or long- it's up to you how you experience it.

Alicia Byars (Rhinehart) Reunion was wonderful. Can't wait until the next one.What do you think about having a get together every three months or something for the people who live or visit Aiken? I have heard of classmates that still live in Aiken doing that. They get together at Ryans every three months.

Thanks to God I finally had a kidney transplant on October 15, 2011. The surgery was a success now I am just trying to get much needed rest and start the healing process.

Hello All You Wonderful Folks!

Unfortunately, Mike Bryant did pass away Shiela Jenkins - I am sorry. I am not sure of all the exact details of how but what I remember was not good - the story I heard may have been added to but Walter and I were both very upset to hear of his passing. We found out way after the fact, because we had been living in Charleston. And it seems that I remember it being about a year or so after our reunion. :(

I would love to see everyone. The 20th was during Thanksgiving weekend so I could not make it, was bummed about that!...we do Thanksgiving away from Aiken with extended family. If it still needs to be that weekend, Saturday night might be easier for folks to get to than Friday. Friday people are still recovering from Thanksgiving and some folks are traveling on Friday...

Can we discuss the timing? Is Thanksgiving weekend a preference for people...or a weekend near Christmas...or sometime inbetween?
