Tamara Van Meter, 48, of Norton, passed away September 19, 2008 at her residence. She was born July 23, 1960 in Akron, Ohio and lived in the area her whole life. She is survived by her son, Jack; the love of her life, Jack Sipple; sisters, Pam (Danny) Cornejo, Penny (John Miller) Van Meter, Lisa Simmons and Tonya (Doug) Cozart; half-sister, Rachael Van Meter; sister-in-law, Lydia; brother-in-law, Bob (Mary); many other loved ones. Tamara had a very loving soul and will be sadly missed. Calling hours will be Friday from 6 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron where funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Willie Smith officiating.
