Wayne "Tex" Crawford

Wayne Tex Crawford

(From Wayne's wife, Shirley)

I received the invitation regarding the 50th Reunion. Sorry we were unable to attend the last event. Wayne (Tex) had been very Sick.

He Passed away on July 4, 2010. His Family misses him terribly, and I know he will be missed by many. He lived a very good life and Loved many people.

His First Priority was God, Then his Family, then his Work. He would have loved to see all of you again. He had great memories of his High School Days.

Hope everyone there is doing well. Wishing you a great turnout for 2011.

I was saddened to learn of 'Tex's' passing.  I remember him as #60 on the football team.  And as a wrestler also.  He had a fun sence of humor, always joking around.  He will be remembered at our Memorial service on July 9, 2011, at the old High School sight.

Ohhhh.  I am sorry to learn Tex was ill and passed away.  When I think of Tex, I remember the way he used to say, "You're reeeeeealy gonna get it!"  It was so catchy that the other guys on the football team picked it up and said it.  It is comforting to read that his first priority was God followed by his family.  Those who also know the Lord will see Tex again.  A nice thought.
