50th Reunion

The 50th year reunion (July 8-10, 2011) was a resounding success.  Over 50 classmates attended and with their guests we had over 100 persons participate.  Everyone had a wonderful time!

This was the Reunion Schedule

Friday, July 8

 

            10 am      Set up and decorating.

6-8 pm     Check in.

8-12 pm   'Ole Fashion 50's/60's Sock Hop with the SLV Band.

              Also entertainment from the "SSS" group from the All 60's

              Reunion.

 

Saturday, July 9

1 pm          Memorial for deceased classmates at old school location

             which is now a Safeway.  Short program and balloon

             release.

2:30 pm   Classmates who were members of the choir during our

              school years, including Mr. Russell Hillock, met to prepare

              a number to sing at the banquet.

5:00 pm   Late Check in

 Class Picture.

6 pm        Dinner

8-11 pm   Program - Entertainment and awards presentations.

              Auction to fund scholarship.

 

Sunday, July 10

9 am       Train ride over LaVeta.
 

12 noon   Get off train at the top, folk music performers and chuck

              wagon lunch.

5 pm        Back in Alamosa - Sunday evening open to do as you

               choose.
