From Dee Greenwald Schranz
It is my regret to report that Donna Krout Wheeler passed away yesterday at her home. Her disease and suffering have ended. She fought the cancer as much as she could, but it wasn't a fair fight. Donna showed up with her gentle spirit, constant courage, beautiful smile and a strong faith in God. She had the constant support of her close, loving family, friends and caregivers. We mourn her loss, but will remember our dear friend and classmate. She was loved by many people and will be greatly missed. Funeral services for Donna will be held on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, 4955 Meadowland Blvd. Colorado Springs, CO. She will be buried in the Alamosa Cemetery on Tuesday, September 25, 2012.
