What have you been doing since graduation.
What a wonderful life journey I've had - beginning with all of you in Alamosa. What a great class we had. Those who have passed on are surely missed.
I've been blessed to live in different states and had diverse work opportunities. My children and grand sons are the biggest/best highlight in my life and a wonderful husband is a bonus.
Short Bio of places lived and work.
Lived in - Chattanooga, Tennessee; Austin, TX; Tulsa, OK; Longmont, CO; and Hermitage, PA.
I've owned and managed a Snelling and Snelling Employment Agency, worked for Boulder County as a case manager for developmentally disabled adults, and then finally went back to college. Received my B.S. from St. Edwards University in Austin, TX and then on to Berkley, CA for my Masters Degree from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary. The Master Degree took four years including a year of internship in Orange, TX. Of course, we students complined at a 4 yr. requirement for a Masters Degree.
I was ordained in 1997. The first church I served was in Tulsa, OK - then I served in Hermitage, PA. I semi-retired in 2008. Now I still do funerals, weddings and fill in Sundays for pastors on vacation. We have time now to travel and play. Our children and grandchildren live in Alaska, Colorado and Texas... so we travel to see them frequently.
My husband, Gary, retired form A.T.&T. after 30 years in 1989.
