Because of Mr. Vialpando, I enjoyed a lifetime of art. He inspired the artistic ember which burned ever so dimly within and because of him I eventually became store design draftsman for Safeway, Denver Division and then store design manager of the Portland (Clackamas) Division of Safeway in Oregon. From there, after a stint at 2 banks, I left the corporate rat race and became self employed as a graphic artist and website designer for the past 24 years. I also did many oil, acrylic and pen and ink works with some even given space at various galleries. I am now semi-retired (I have one client left). Art has been my joy and for that I say, Thank you, Mr Vialpando!  Dave Sheridan
