Hey all you Class of 1973 West Albany Bulldogs.  Don`t think for a second that you take a pass on the 40th Reunion.

Now I know some of you are feeling old, tired, fat, and lazy. ( I`m including myself in this group)  Guess what, nobody cares about that.  What they care about you and your smiling face, where have you been, and what have you been up to.

Some of us are traveling long distances to see all of you.  Now I know some of you still live in the Albany area.  Some of you still hangout together.  So get off your rear end and please come to the 40th Reunion.

If you need motivation, look at the "In Memory " page and think of where all of us will be someday.........Hopefully not until after our 60th reunion.

And remember, if you want to feel younger, hang out with older people. Oh yes, and watch Dr. OZ....

                                                                                                Sincerely yours, Ted Craysmiley

Hi Everybody!!  We've got one month left til the reunion.  Even tho the deadline has passed, we are still accepting money and dinner choices for a little longer.  Drop me a line at lorigreeni@yahoo.com or call me 541-990-9128 to let me know you still want to join us.  I have heard from many of you over the past few months that you are planning on attending but have yet to receive your information.  Even if you've sent your money and info in, spread the word to other classmates you are in contact with and let's make this reunion a ton of fun.  I'm really looking forward to seeing each and every one of you and spending time reconnecting and/or catching up. Cya soon!!!!  Lori

The 40th Reunion was a great time.  It was so much fun to re-connect with people I haven't seen for too many years.  Thank you to Lori, Sharen, Jan  and Karen for all their hard work to make this a successful event.  If you really don't have an excuse for not coming to a reunion (this is coming from someone who didn't have an excuse for all the ones I missed since our 10 year), you really should come to the next one.  You'll find everyone is pretty much just like you!  And you'll enjoy re-connecting!

Hello Everyone,

I also want to thank Karen, Lori, Jan, and Sheron from the bottom of my heart for the great job in coordinating the reunion.  I had a wonderful time.  I am so grateful that I got to see so many old friends.  Everyone from our hometown is so nice!  Traveling from Houston was well worth it.   If we have another reunion, I will be there. '

It was hard coming back to the trafic-infested concrete jungle of Houston and I am certainly feeling lonely and grumpy today!  I will think of you often and pray we keep in touch.

Pam, in Houston but wishing I were back home.devil

Hi Everybody!  Vern and I had a great time and you'll definitely see us next time!  I heard there might be a party to celebrate 60th birthdays...good idea !!! Thank you Karen, Lori, Sharen and Jan!  Cindy Farner and Denise Brem you haven't changed a bit, what is up with that?  Jack Cray...hey I want to take kayak lessons from you in the pool at South Albany, I've wanted to get into that forever.  Miss Pammy Dukart you and I have so much in common...heck if I hadn't spent so much time with Vern or doing Hi-Steppers I might have gotten a chance to get to know more of you better since I moved to Albany my sophomore year and didn't know anyone from Junior High.  Lastly I finally remembered why I don't have a senior photo.  Looking through our senior annual on the head table the cobwebs cleared and I remembered I was on the annual staff my senior year . I didn't like my pictures, not a one of them, so I found out I didn't have to submit one if I didn't want to...so I didn't.   Isn't it great having fleeting moments of power now and again in life?  Karen I do have one senior headshot in my cap and gown and I will get that to you for our website.  So now we all know the rest of the story . Honestly  I know I am a spouse of a classmate but....REALLY?  A photo of a bulldog is all I get? Enjoy the rest of the summer and one of these days Vern and I will update our personal page with photos of how we REALLY look now.   Jeri Parker Saboe

Diane and I thought it was the best reunion yet even if it did seem invaded by people approaching 60! Yikes! LOL. Thank you to Lori, Sharen, Jan and Karen for all they did to make this reunion such a success. The Friday social setting was comfortable and allowed for visiting as did the new American Legion Hall for dinner Saturday evening. Kudos on selecting them. I guess turnout from SAHS at the mixer was low but I didn't get to that so can only say it was a great idea to have the mixer.

I really enjoyed the WAHS campus tour led by Principal Susie Orsborn. She did a great job and those of us that were there really were amazed at the significant changes in classroom and hallway structure. We were told there are currently 1400 students at WAHS in grades 9-12. Hallways are again crowded between classes -- only FOUR PER DAY! -- and no plans currently for a third high school. Those of us that wanted to were able to see our own school records. Fun!

Diane and I would love to see a 45th reunion. I agree with Lori's comment on using email and the Web site and no longer using USPS to mail notices, etc. Just too expensive and cumbersome.

Thank you Patti & Jack for planning and pulling off a great reunion!  It was so much fun to see everyone, and I’m looking forward to the next one!  I really liked this informal version.  Thank you also to Vern & Jeri for having us all at your gorgeous home.  Hope the neighbors didn’t complain!

Yes!  I agree with Anne.  What a great event!  I also enjoyed the informal venue.  I realized after I got home all of the people I didn’t talk with!  I will make a point to do better next time!  Mike Brenneman, I didn’t even realize you were there until Susie told me when we got home!  Thanks to all who helped make it a success!  See you in 2023!

So sorry I missed all the fun.  I was planning on being there.  Had it on my calendar but the kids and grandkids invaded the time.  We just couldn't get away.  Next time for sure!
