Graduated from Wake Forest in 1988 and moved to Germany for a couple years (after a stint in Chapel Hill while husband #1 was in law school). Divorced, moved home and went to grad school at Appalachian. Ended up with a job at ETSU in Johnson City (where I'd lived before moving to Albemarle) and have been there ever since. Being the smart person I am I got married again, had two kids while I worked on my doctorate, and then several years ago, really got smart and got divorced, yet again.
For those of you who remember what a nerd I was, not to mention band geek, how's this for a major reversal - I'm the Faculty Athletic Rep for ETSU to the NCAA! And I plan my life around ETSU sporting events. Yeah, go figure. :)
I missed the last reunion so I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in October.
