Comments:

With Larry's career in the Marine Corps, I seemed to make a career out of moving. Despite having moved 18 times in 19 years at one point, I was always able to find work. Some jobs were more enjoyable than others. My favorite job was teaching conversational English to a variety of Japanese students when we lived in Iwakuni, Japan. One of my least favorite jobs was teaching grammar to Turkish college freshmen when we lived in Istanbul, Turkey. In 1997, I went back to school to obtain my teaching certification. By that time, I only needed a few more classes before I could finish with a Masters in Education which I completed in 2001 from George Mason University in Virginia. Since Larry retired in 2001, we've been learning new skills as we fix up houses and a boat which still leaves me time to fill-in on an as-needed basis for FedEx Home Delivery.
