Christopher Westphal

- After graduation I attended the University of Arizona (played Rugby & enrolled in Naval ROTC), took 5 years to get BS in Management Information Systems degree (I would have stretched to 10 years if I could)
- After graduation from UofA in 1994 received Commission in US Navy. Places lived being in the Navy:
- Newport, RI (twice)
- Norfolk, VA
- Pascagoula, MS
- Pensacola, FL
- San Diego, CA
- Kaneohe, HI
- Washington, DC (current assignment in the Pentagon)
- Returning to San Diego in May 2010 to take Command of a Helicopter Squadron
- Earned Master's Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies
- I've been very fortunate to see many parts of the world and experience many different cultures: I've made multiple deployments to the Mediterranean Sea (Bosnia operations), Caribbean (counter drug operations), Eastern Pacific (counter drug operations), Persian Gulf (Iraq sanctions enforcement and Operation Iraqi Freedom), and the South Pacific (counter terrorism operations)
- Married my beautiful bride in 1996, three kids followed in 2002, 2004, and 2006
- Kristin is an attorney and getting very tired of taking the Bar exam every time we move - she's very excited to be going back to someplace she is already licensed

- I'm looking forward to attending the reunion and hearing everyones story of what they've been doing since graduation

Most of what I remember from LCHS: football (being bused to Eisenhower Middle School my Sophomore year for practice - no sport fields at LCHS the first year, wrestling, closed campus lunch, weekend mesa parties, cruising Montgomery, and great friends.
