I graduated from UNM with a BS in Computer Engineering. I was on the 6 year plan, interning at IBM in Austin for a year, and NASA at Kennedy Space Center in FL for 5 months as well. After graduation, I joined Intel Corporation where I spent 6.5 years in Automation. During that time, I finished an MBA at UNM, and worked for 1.5 years in Portland, OR.
In 2001, I was accepted to MIT and sponsored by Intel to return to school and earn a dual Masters. I received an MS in Electrical Engineering, and MS in Management. During that time, I worked for Dell Computer Corp in Austin, TX (where my daughter Faith was born). I graduated in 2003, and returned to Intel, where I worked as a Shift Manager, on night shift, with an organization of 350. I transitioned rolls from Fab 11 to Fab 11X, where I managed the Implant, EPI, and RTX manufacturing groups. During this time, my daughter Emily, and my son Jaedon were born.
At the end of 2008, I left Intel, and am now a Solar Cell Factory Manager at Schott Solar. I will be spending the summer in Germany (Alzenau) with my family to learn the technology, and then transfer it back to Albuquerque in the coming year.
