School Story

I met my husband Gerald Duran in the summer between sophomore and junior year at Valley. We've been together ever since and will be celebrating our 34th anniversary in November. Denise Mello (Vivian Cordova) and I have been friends since her family moved next door to ours when we were in 3rd grade. In general, I was more concerned with leaving school early in the day to work so I didn't get involved in too many school activities unless I had to. I had my first interview with the Federal Government when I was a junior because my Office Ed teacher said it would be good practice. I got hired that following summer and three years ago retired ending a great career and gained the opportunity to help care for my grandchildren. Truly blessed.

Hello Mary. I wasn't sure if you got my response to your comment. I was very happy to hear from you. Time sure does fly. Gerald and I will only be going to the Sadie's happy hour. Will you be there? Our son is having his first child and the due date is July 20. You just never know with first babies so we're playing it safe.
