Following graduation from LSU I worked as a Legislative Auditor for 18 years, Department of Education in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina and retired from LSU Hospitals as a Financial Manager. I'm currently serving as the International Treasurer for the Order of the Eastern Star.

Besides Eastern Star I'm active with LA P.E.O., International Order of Rainbow for Girls, American Heart Association, AARP Tax Aide doing taxes during tax season, Baton Rouge Art Gallery, and Broadmoor United Methodist Church.
