Comments:

Looking forward to our 3rd reunion. Please, no one pull the fire alarm this time? Still teaching and coaching at West Potomac HS. Only have 5 years left and I will be searching for something new. Maybe one of you has an idea? I have 3 natural born children and we just added two more. So, we are VERY busy!

School Story:

Senior skip day! I know I was the only person there who didn't drink? My guess is that Sara Lynn will open up the property to all of us again and maybe we could have a repeat performance?

How often do you get back to Alexandria?

This is a no brainer......I have left many times and settled elsewhere, but I came back and settled down permanantly in 1985.

Do you still see/talk to/hang out with any classmates? Who?

I see Lisa McDonald and Dan Normyle on a regular basis, and occasionally run into Jeff Williams, Jerry Williams, Greg Yellman, David Grant, Ed Louder, .....We still get christmas cards from all these folks. Joining Facebook has helped out immensely as names and faces are starting to re-enter my life again.

What would we be surprised to know about you?

I still look the same....or so I have been told?

What are your memories of high school (i.e. secret crush, embarrassing moment, funniest thing you did in high school, favorite high school hang out, favorite teachers)?

I think playing the punky little freshmen and being sold elevator passes? I loved jock hall when I finally did letter. I remember the fishmarket when it was really a hangout. Most embarassing moment is when we stole 50 FOR SALE signs and put them in Ed Coughlan's yard only to realize the next day that the signs had my uncle's name all over them?

Biggest thing you would do differently if you went back to your time at high school?

I would have passed Merglers class the first time and not fooled around in "shorty's" class. I still can't remember any theories and I think a "mole" is a small animal that plays in the woods.

Any words of wisdom?

Life is more fun when:

you vote for the opposition candidate and then lie to the pollsters and your friends.

cheer for the team that is 1-15 in the previous year because they will undoubtedly win a championship the next year.

give every student in your class an "F" so their parents will actually attempt to come to parents night?

you go to you high school reunion just to see who is single....AGAIN.

Do you give your permission to the Reunion Committee to download photos from your profile for use in reunion slideshows and/or photo collages?

Yes

Me with several daughters of Fort Hunt Graduates: Jeff Biglers ('73) daughter Julianne, Sherri Rosenbergs ('85) daughter Kelsey and David Underwood's ('78) daughter Sarah Jane. Picture was taken at the Battle of the Potomac. All four girls were representing Virginia in their annual battle against the Maryland cross country stars.
