I joined the Army in 1966 and spent 2 years in Germany, then 1 year in Viet Nam as a helicopter crew chief/door gunner. I attended college for a number of years at NVCC and Mason. I started a construction company, building houses in the 80s. In 1985 I opened an auto shop in Springfield where I have worked for over 30 years. The current web address is GermanSwedishAuto.com. From 1988-1992 we purchased a building lot with no road going to it in Gunston. We designed and then built a post and beam solar house mostly ourselves. My interests are technology and theology. I spend much free time studying, having taken Seminary courses. In a couple of years we plan on retiring to Pawleys Island SC.
