Gary Alan Etheridge, a Kingsville, Tx resident (age 66) passed away on Tues, January 14, 2014. He was born on Feb 2, 1947 to Billy and Zonie Etheridge. He was a US Marine Corps Vietnam Vet and a member of First Baptist Church in Kingsville. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Billy and Wayland Etheridge.. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sandra Etheridge, three daughters, Darla Etheridge of Kingsville, Shelly Baugh of Clyde, Tx and Brenda Ballard of Kingsville, a sister, Delores Shamblin of Alice Tx, and seven grandchildren. Internment was Wed Jan 22, 2014 at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cementery in Corpus Christi, Tx. Gary was a 1965 graduate of WAHS. Gary was a loving husband, father, brother grandfathe,r and dear friend and the pain is great as he departed from us.

Long dear friend of mine, we both were in Kingsville at the time of his passing. Great, great guy and a hard working man for his beautiful family. After retirement, he worked at Walmart there in Kingsville. I remember visiting with him one last time, just before he passed away. He's missed not only by his family but a lot by myself. It was always great to go into Walmart and and see an old Memorial Mustang/Alice Coyote......love you and miss you buddy.
