I am contemplating getting a metal detector and start looking for treasures.

I also have thoughts of going to Auctioneering School also before I get to old.

There are so many, but the day Ival Outhouse asked what I thought about about the creation of YMCA's and my response; was so racist and prejudice for todays times and back then as well, first came the lecture, then it was a back hand across the chops and I was told for the 100+ time I had as much common sense as the radiator hanging on the wall. He did not like people using slang terms towards any race or religion.....So I liked to do it just to get the reactions and hand jestures!
And of coarse Ival always liked to tell you the "book is wrong" if you remember--simply unbelievable. I guess Ival was ahead of his time on POLITICAL CORRECTNESS!

Another memory:When Zenor accused me of causing his marital problems -- and my Response was; Drinking is your problem, so don't blame others.
He told me smoking was bad for my health--and my Response was; so is drinking

I JUST WONDER: if the bells ever started working in the High School Building with-out rewiring... I cut those wires so many times I know that if you collected all the black electric tape, Alton could be famous for it. Just like Wall Lake for the popcorn ball, and Litchfield Mn. for the ball of twine.

Another memory was taking the red,white, and blue air plane (the spirit of 76) to Washington D.C.
A couple years ago we spent about 2 weeks in D.C. and another 3 weeks all over the east - from Niagra, to Boston, Phildelphia, Baltimore, New York Cityand Hershey Penn. --Wow didn't realize History was that much fun in school...Thanks Mark Krogman for the pictures.

Explaining to Zenor you had to earn the respect to be called "MR." so I continued to call him "Al".

Explaining to Mr. Moen where to put my drum sticks; " where the sun doesn't shine".

And one last- writing a note for Jim Filarski to get out of school, and Zenor trying to nail me for "conspiracy to truancy" which he held a special school board meeting writing the rule for the handbook!!! writing a law after a crime has been committed--only in Floyd Valley.

and even if your statement was false with the wrong president, wrong yr and you said false it was -3. Your answers had to be the same as his key. So you soon realized you always had to say(T) because that is what the master key said, even though the statement was wrong....

Vancover, Canada---Hawaii---and it seems like we go to Arizona about every year. My wife has sibblings in the Phoenix area. We have taken Motor Home trips all thru the West as well as the East. WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota was also an eye opener...
