Eddie R. Funkhouser, 75, of Godfrey went to e with the Lord at his home on Friday, July 1, 2016.

He was born on January 19, 1941 in Alton, Illinois to the late Hobert O. and Dorothy L. (Braboy) Funkhouser.

Eddie retired from Owens-Illinois after 50 years as a machinist.  He waas a United States Air Foarce Veteran, member of Brown Street Baptist Church in Alton, Board Member of Camp Manitpi,o amd Awana leader.

Eddie married June Wooldridge Funkhouser on December 5, 1957 in Jennings, Missouri.  She surives and resides in Godfrey.

Other survivors include 1 daughter and son in law, Christine and Tim Croxton of Wood River, 3 sons and daughters in law, Joe & Janice Funkhouser of Ankeny, Iowa, Jeff Funkhouser of Texas, Jim and Cindy Funkhouser of Rosewood Heights, 1 brother and sister in law,  Bill and Peggy Funkhouser of Godfrey.    

His parents preceded him in death and 1 grandson, T. Michae Croxton.

He was buried from Targhetta & Wooldridge Funeral in Brighton on July 5, 2016
