Life is short and I always am sad to hear about any of my classmates leaving this earth.  In Richard's case I am especailly sad because we were best friends in grade school, spent nights with each other and let his sister curl our hair one time.  As time progressed we took different paths and did not see each other very often.  Then at our 10 year class reunion, this tall white haired man behind me said hi Wayne and I said who are you?  I was really embarassed when he told me that he was Richard O'Neal.  Also, Richard is responsible for leading me to the Lord.  He took me to a church meeting and prayed with me when I accepted Jesus as my personal savior.  I know that he is in Heaven today.  I will see him again some day.  Rest in peace.

Richard,  I am so happy that to know that you are in heaven with our Lord.  I did not know about that.  Thank you, Wayne Peal for telling that story.  I also remember him in  the same elementary.school,  Good ole Clara Barton.   I thought he was so cute and we played together on the playground as all of us were close back then.   we got to play girl chase boy and Rover Rover ,Crack the whip, games that kids today are not allowed to play, We were all lucky, times change.  We called him Dickie but as we all grew we changed our names to fit us better except for me.  I had no other. We will miss him as it is sad to lose our classmates.  Bless his family and keep them in your care, Lord.  I plan on seeing old friends in Heaven someday.

Dick O'Neal always had a smile on his face and could make you laugh easily. He was a sincere and honest person, he like so many of our other classmates will be waiting for us when we go to our real home. Carol, if you are reading this, my thoughts and prayers are with you as life without your marriage partner has to be challenging and difficult on some days. May Peace be yours.
