Rodney C. Tutt, 69, born March 2, 1939, in Alton, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2009. Survivors: daughter, Cinthia Saaverada; son, Jeffrey Tutt; grandchild, Sebastian Tutt; sisters, Valorie Tutt and Mary Driver; and brother, Rowland Tutt. All County Funeral Home in Florida was in charge.

In high school, I remember Rodney as a tall lanky, slow moving guy who sorta drug his feet when he walked and he had "coke bottle" glasses. Then at one of our reunions, I saw Rodney without glasses (he had contacts I think) and he was not slow moving at all because he was on the dance floor dancing a very fast dance. I thought what a change and it made me proud of him. So sorry to hear of his passing, he will be missed.
