Judith Ann Trowbridge, 62, died at 5:03 a.m. Friday, March 19, 2004, at her home.
The daughter of Joseph W.and L. Lorraine Marshall, she was born July 26, 1941, in Alton.
She married Donald RayTrowbridge on July 2, 1960, in Alton.
A 1959 Alton High School graduate, she was a memberof the A.R.C. and served on the board of directors. She was also a member of the Alton VFW Post 1308. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, bingo, fishing, painting, gardening, sewing and cooking.
She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Kelly Jane Nicosia, and her husband, Anthony, of Wood River; two sons, Brian Scott Trowbridge and his wife, Connie, of Zanesville, Ohio, and Donald Randle Trowbridge of Terra Haute, Ind.; four grandchildren, Joseph, Donald, Kaley and Jennifer; one sister, Donna R. Crawford of Wood River; two nieces; and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Donald Richard Atteberry.
Her body was donated to Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

Judy was a long life time friend to me. She could make you laugh and yet there were times we cried together too. I will always remember how often she did nice things for people and how much she loved her family. Everyone should have had a friend like Judy Atteberry Trowbridge.
