Darlene Cauley (Rushing)

GODFREY - Darlene Neoma Rushing passed away at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 1997, at her  residence after a lengthy illness.

Born April 14,1941, in Terre Haute, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Herbert H. and Goldie (Powell) Cauley.

She was employed as a lab tech at Christian Northeast Hospital in St Louis County for 21 years and was a member of the Pinochle Club.

She married Edward F. Rushing on June 1, 1963, in Alton, 111., and he survives.

Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Darin Warren of Brighton; five sons and their wives, Duane and Robin Rushing of East Alton, James Rushing of Boston, Mass,, Sheldon and Traci Rushing of Alton, Scott and Kristi Rushing of Brighton and Michele and Julie Rushing of Godfrey; eight grandchildren, Kelci, Garrett, Derek, Jared, Sara, Ronnie, David and Tyler; two sisters and their husbands, Sandy and Davey Roberts of Godfrey and Sherry and Melvin Jones of Delhi; and a brother and his wife, Herbert and Patty Cauley of Godfrey.

Cindy Kodros (Garvey)

Darlene was a sweet and bright eyed girl with a big smile. She always knew you no matter where you were or who you might be with. She raised a beautiful family with her husband. May she be in peace.
