Jim was married to my good friend, Maureen Gill Gonner. They had two children, Karen and Bill. They were both the light in their dad's eye. He died of cancer at a very young age but he left behind a strong wife that has carried on as mother and father and his children have made him proud.

Jim and I lived close to each other and hung around together a lot. I remember when he got his driver's license which really surprised me because I just did not think he could drive good enough to get them. We had some great times together and I was sorry to hear about his passing. He was a great man and I am glad to have had the opportunity to be part of his younger life.
