Jim and I were friends since we were very small, mainly as jr members of the Main Street Methodist Church, along with about 4 or 5 other classmates. Jim, George Brooks, Don Gubser, Orville Sitze, George Lammers, always sat together up in the balcony during the Sunday morning service. About 90% of the time we behaved like we were supposed to, but there were times when we just really had a hard time with acting like "good boys". Seemed like someone always got separated from the group because of some sort of disturbance. We knew when the preacher looked up toward the balcony, we were gonna get "corrected" for something. Jim I'm sure is missed by his family, but also by me and our many friends.
