AURORA, Colo. - Ronald E. Leavell , 53, formerly of Alton, died as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident near Aurora at 6:19 p.m. Friday, June 17, 1994.
The son of Wiley and Juanita (Norman) Leavell of El Paso, Texas, he was born on April 20, 1941, in Alton.He retired as a lieutenant colonel from the U.S. Army Medical Corp., where he served for 25 years.He married the former Sandra Westbrook on Oct. 30, 1964, in Alton.Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are a daughter, Angela Davis of Aurora; a son, Steven Leavell of Aurora; three g r a n d c h i l d r e n ; and two brothers, Jim Leavell of Godfrey and Ralph Leavell of Fort Smith, Ark.
