Bruce was special to me. At one of thelast reunions that we both attended, I reminded him of the East Junior High School Football Queen coronation (1956). Bruce was my escort for that event. It was an exciting time and I was so blessed not only to have been a candidate but to also have been able to hang on tightly to Bruce's arm as we walked down the aisle to the stage. Bruce's older sister and mine were classmates of the 1954 AHS class. Bruce was a quiet gentleman and I am sure he is missed by many.
