Many of us were so sadden by Jill's death. This is the girl that Ms. Rue loved to have in her chorus class. Jill could hit notes that none of the rest of us could. I remember a program where Ms. Rue had Jill sing a solo and it took all of our breaths away. She was great. I saw her many years after we graduated from high school and she bragged about her chldren. She was a proud mother and rightly so.

Jill and I were grade school clasmates, and she lived two doors down from me on Rodgers Avenue. The last time I saw her was at the clas reunion (10th?) when she was hugely pregnant with her twins. She did have a beautiful voice.
