Deceased Name: Ronald Clark
Mr. Ronald David Clark, 67, of Rockingham died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital.
He was born Jan. 26, 1941 in Alton, Illinois, a son of the late Thomas and Doris Reynolds Clark. Mr. Clark was a retired machinist with Owens Illinois. He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his wife, Marilin Clark of the home; a son, Buster Clark of Brighton, Illinois; a daughter, Belinda Clark of Summerville, S.C.; and four grandchildren.

Ron was one of our Washington Grade School boys that was liked by everyone. He was happily married and raised a very nice family with his wife of many years. He really liked the Nascar Racing as I remember and he and his wife would do the tour every year with the racers. I was sadden by his death.W. Wayne Peal, Sr.
I don't remember when I met Ron, think it was at West Jr. High not sure, but Ron was a friend of mine. I am sorry to hear about his passing and wish his family well. We need more people in this world like Ron. He was a great guy.
