James Lively

Born Oct. 11, 1941, in Fayette County, W.Va., he was a son of the late Edward E. Lively and Eugene (Foster) Stark.

 

A journeyman machinist at McDonnell Douglas for more than 35 years, he retired in 1996.

He was an avid CB enthusiast and enjoyed hunting, fishing and motorcycles.

Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Renee and Glenn Treise of Alton, Tamma and Toby Raines of Alton and Rhonda Lively of Wood River; a son, Ronnie Calvert of East Alton; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Lomer J. Stark of St. Louis and William K. Stark of Jacksonville, Ill.; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Lively.
