ALTON

Boyd N. Milford, 62, died at 1:50 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2003, at Saint Anthony's Health Center in Alton.

The son of Mary Neal Milford of Alton and the late Chester "Chef Milford, he was born April 10, 1940, an Alton.

He married the former Phyllis Stutz on June 17, 1961, in Alton. She survives.

Retired from Quality Pontiac since 1998, he was a mechanic for 32 years. He belonged to Machinists Union District 9.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by two sons and their spouses, Mark and Susan Milford of Godfrey and Chris and Sandy Milford of Alton; one daughter and her spouse, Stacy and Rick Hausman of Alton; six grandchildren, Nicholas, Lisa and Beth Milford and Ricky, Amber and Angela Hausman; one brother and his wife, G. Allen and Deborah Bartle, and their two daughters, Emily and Sarah, of Akron, Ohio; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
