W. Wayne Peal, Sr.

My loving wife of 49 years went to be with the Lord on 21 August 2008 following over 2 years of suffering with terminal brain cancer. She is now at peace in Heaven. We raised our family together, traveled around the world together, grew up together, and loved each other and she will be in my heart forever.

Verla's death was a tremendous lost not only to her family but all that knew her. Who can ever forget that smiling face with the big dimples. Her eyes glistened when she and Wayne would come through those doors together at the reunions for almost everyone of them. You could always tell how happy she and Wayne were. More couples could have learned lessons from the two of them. May she rest in peace and Wayne have the strength to go on without her. He has the family to help him that they raised together.
