I know of no one that didn't like Albert Patterson and his wife, Mary. They had a very nice family and one to be proud of. Albert will be missed by all of his classmates. Cindy Kodros Garvey

Albert Patterson
ALTON
Albert Patterson, 67, died at 7:40 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, 2006, at his home.
He was born Dec. 19, 1938, in Tahoma, Miss., to Marse and Elnora (Armstrong) Patterson.
He graduated in 1959 from Alton Senior High School. He was a machinist for Illinois Power Co. for 22 years, retiring in January 1995. He was a. member of True Light Missionary Baptist Church in St. Louis.
He is survived by his former wife, Mary (Davis) Patterson of Alton, to whom he was married for 45 years; two sons, Albert Patterson Jr.. of Jonesboro, Ga., and Marcus D. Patterson of Alton; a daughter, Rhonda R. Patterson of Alton; five grandchildren, Brandon, Shardey, Nakita, Shanelle and Victoria Patterson; two great - g r a n d c h i l d r e n , Brandon and Ma'Jhala Patterson; three sisters, Emma Patterson and Rosie Gray, both of Sioux City, Iowa, and Floy Shaw of Alton; a brother, Paul Patterson of Alton; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Patterson and Marse Patterson Jr., and a sister, Beatrice Price.
