I'm saddened by the news just learned from David Nekola that we've lost another classmate, Paul Corbin. I remember him well. A very nice boy.  Checking Roger Cooke's Horace Mann chart it shows Paul joined my grade school  in sixth grade. It seems like I went all through school with him though. He will be missed. Let's pray we don't lose anyone else this year. It's too many already.

Paul was  my oldest friend, and the first boy to ever see me naked.....Perhaps I need to explain....Paul and I were born on the same day, in the same year, in the same hospital and our mother's shared the same room!!!!!!  Paul and I had this standing joke between us for eons.  May you rest in peace my friend, you are sadly missed.

I too was saddened to read that Paul had died.  Paul and I are 2nd cousins.  It's funny how we found out.  In Jr. High he had asked me to a dance.....of course, I was thrilled because he was so nice and so -o-o- cute !!   My great-grandmother passed away and I told Paul that I wouldn't be in school the next day because of going to her funeral..... he said ...wow.. strange my great-grandmother died too.   Well........we had the same great-grandmother.  We had a great laugh finding out we were related !!    Rest in Peace, Paul.

Paul and I shared some great times. Throughout our final year at East Jr. High School (1957) he followed me (alphabetically) in every assembly and our graduation. I have a photo of the graduation that I will scan and submit. We laughed about it, saying that if our names were reversed no one would be able to see me.
