Shubert was a gentleman even at the high school age.  He didn't know how handsome he was.  That was the thing I liked best about him.   May his family know that he was so well respected by the people that worked with him at Owes-Illinois and his school mates from Alton High School.

God speed Schubert.  What a nice guy.  He and I used to to steady in junior high when we were at West.  A very sweet, polite and genuine nice person.  Sincere condolences to his family.

So sorry to hear of Schubert's death.  He was a wonderful person.  My sympathy to his family.  I remember he and I won a dance contest in high school and how much fun we had.  Many fun times with Dave Ellington, George Rolla, Schubert, Pat Browning, and several others.  RIP my dear friend!  Sounds like you had a very good and successful life.  Prayers to your family.

Although Shubert and I weren't close friends I always admired the way he dressed and tried to pattern myself after him. Sorry to hear about his death.
