One of the saddest stories in the whole world. He had so very much going for him, so many people who dearly loved him, and he was so "James Dean" handsome! When he discovered that he had cancer throughout his body, he was, of course, so devastated - as we all were. At the time, a few of us were "frequenting" local watering holes and cried in our beers with him many times. I hope to see more postings on this site from those who knew him better than I did.Lucia Laird (Norris)
Kenny was one of the North Junior guys whom I remember mostly as a 9th grader. However, Tom and I and our children were in Osage Beach, MO in the summer of 1982. We ate dinner at the Fisherman's Wharf -- and on a Friday evening, it was full. There was one table open and it turned out to be right next to Kenny; his wife Mary; and their 3 children. Small world !!!Sue Weissenfluh (Rexford)
Everytime I think of Kenny I have to laugh. Kenny was one of a kind, handsome, but short. He was always the first one to rumble. He had this need to prove how tough he was. He had a personality the gals loved. Rest in peace now Kenny, the fight is over.
