Don and I went to Boot Camp together in June of 1960, along with Vernon Cunnigham,Walter Mawdsley, and Robert Smith. I ran into him a few times when he was a recruiter in Alton and talked about old times.....Great Guy

I used to hang around occasionally with Don  and his friend Terry Rowan.  Very nice guy, with a lot of common sense.

Don and I were best friends all through school....we were like brothers. The last time I saw Don was at my mother's funeral in 1976 in Alton. I spent 9 years in the Navy during Viet Nam. Rest in peace, my brother, as you earned it. God Bless America.
