Jeff and I grew up across the street from one another. When I remember Jeff, my memories are mostly of our childhood - doing all the great childhood things you get to do growing up here in the Midwest - bug bites, poison ivy, playing baseball, catching frogs, and staying out after dark as long as we could until our Moms called us in for the umpteenth time. Jeff was always hanging out with my family, and always willing to lend a hand if my folks needed it. He lives on in my family's collective memory, and his name is mentioned often to this day. He was a genuinely kind, giving and compassionate soul. Miss you brother.
