After a career in Insurance Sales, my wife, Judy and I retired in 2001 on the Kentucky Lake, in Paris, TN. In 2014, my wife and I moved to Redington Beach, FL where we now live. We have 2 children, a son, Jesse IV, and a daughter, Jeris McKenzie. We enjoy traveling, antiquing, and tailgaiting, at Mizzou football games. We will celebrate our 40th anniversary this year in New Orleans with our children. In 1993 the Nashville Tennessean found me through relatives, and wrote an article regarding myself and my son, our lineage and a primitive Baptist Minister, my g,g,g,great grandfather, Elder Jesse Cox, from Nashville, TN. An Eagle Scout had cleared the grave where he was buried, along with his mother and wife, and subsequently they found the last of the Jesse Cox lineage in Alton, IL.. There is an archived diary and book he wrote in the Nashville Historical Society. Amazing knowing there is much religion in my lineage! Baptist at that! God is good!
