Nancy Louise Yeager, 86, passed away peacefully and entered Heaven on Saturday at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Altoona. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Frank and Mary Margaret (Speilvogle) Dutrow.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl F. “Sonny” Yeager, in 2009; and a sister, Dolores Snoberger.
Nancy was a 1960 graduate of Altoona High School.
She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she was involved with different ministries.
Nancy enjoyed crocheting, doing word search puzzles, gardening, being outside and most of all, spending time with her family.
Surviving are her sons, Edward Yeager and Mark Yeager, both of Tyrone; her granddaughter, Heather Yeager-Long (Eric) of Lebanon; a sister, Barbara Noye of Tyrone; and nieces and nephews.
To honor Nancy’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements are by Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone.
